Management Team

 

Heidi Hughes

Heidi graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration in 1998. She started Spatial Technologies as a sole proprietor in 2003 and incorporated as a LLC in 2005. The gross income of Spatial Technologies, a woman owned small business has increased nearly 100% per year since 2003.

Ms. Hughes has a passion for excellence and for giving back to the community. She has three main goals for Spatial Technologies and its employees 1) To exceed customer expectations 2) To retain satisfied employees and 3) To promote community service. She understands that employees must be motivated to do well for the company and its customers and therefore has developed a generous benefits package for the team.

Spatial Technologies has provided innovative IT solutions to the Department of Defense for the past 9 years. Ms. Hughes takes pride in the calibre of employees that make up Team Spatial. She promotes a rigorous training program to ensure the team is proficient in cutting edge technologies and knows data and development standards inside and out.

Sherry Hughes

Sherrry's combination of communications, electronics, intelligence and technical information systems knowledge add a unique skill set to Spatial Technologies. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, she has experience with Department of Defense worldwide communications challenges and solutions.

Upon completing her tour of duty with the Navy, she completed studies at the University of South Florida to meet the increasing need to apply Geospatial Technologies to Counterterrorism Intelligence and Operations. Sherry has an interesting perspective of communications and measuring how to collect information, utilizing communications and IT venues to provide rapid collection and analysis to DoD customers. As global communications shapes industries and the threat of information is an ever increasing risk, Sherry strives to understand and deploy information assurance initiatives with the geospatial perspective.
